Alexander the Great was a Macedonian, not a Slav or a Greek. He was born in the ancient kingdom of Macedon, which was located in the northern part of Greece. The Macedonians were a distinct ethnic group with their own language and culture, and they were not considered to be Greek in the same way as the city-states of southern Greece. While there is some debate about the exact ethnic identity of the ancient Macedonians, it is generally accepted that they were a separate group from both the Greeks and the Slavs. **

However, they also engage in nomadic practices such as herding animals or seasonal migration to take advantage of different resources. This lifestyle allows them to adapt to changing environmental conditions and maintain a balance between settled and nomadic ways of life. **
